Well I am finally half way through my 4000 mile walking challenge!
On Wednesday of week 27 I crossed over 2000th mile and it feels great to have gotten this far already.
The past 6 months has seen a lot of obstacles thrown in my way from all quarters including mother nature, injuries along with unexpected commitments from work and family.
No matter the hurdle, I managed to keep going and get the miles walked.
The reason that I have been able to keep going on my micro-adventure is thanks to the support I have been receiving from family, friends and the amazing Fife walking community and I would like to thank you all as, without it I would have had a truly miserable time so far.
I would also like to say thank you to those of you who have reached out to me over the course of this year and offered some incredibly valuable advice. Your words have made a tremendous difference in many aspects of how I am approaching this challenge.
The next 2000 miles will see me pass through summer into autumn and finally back into winter where I began this challenge and I will continue to document my experiences and the lessons I learn along the way.
I hope that you have been finding my posts to be interesting, helpful and most of all encouraging and I would like to hear from you if you have taken up a similar walking challenge this year and you can drop me a email through firstname.lastname@example.org
Thank you again for all the support. Catch up with you again next week.
