Blairadam Forest is a great place for dogs, walkers, runners and cyclists.

This route is one I often take when walking my dogs in the summer and one guaranteed to tire them out.

This walking route brings in some of the more rugged trails through the forest and is not suitable for those with limited walking ability. The route starts and ends in the Forestry Commission car park which has plenty of parking spaces and picnic benches. There is lots to see and enjoy. The forest is a mix mature broadleaved woodland with oak, beech and birch and it is home to many different species of animals.
