Blairadam Forest is a stunning location and there are many walking routes in around the forest.

This route passes by the remains of the two Blairenbathie pits which once dominated the once industrial landscape.

There a number of routes throughout the  forest and each has been marked out by the Forestry Commission. This route is marked out in yellow and starts (and ends) at the edge of the visitor car park.

This is an excellent walk for all the family no matter there walking ability. There is lots to see and enjoy. The forest is a mix mature broadleaved woodland with oak, beech and birch and it is home to many differents species of animals.

Route shared with Walk Fife by John Rankin.
