The Coul Den Nature Reserve is located on the outskirts of Glenrothes and is an excellent short walk.

The reserve is excellent for young kids to explore with plenty to see and enjoy

The route begins and ends in the small carpark on the edge of the reserve but if it is full there is plenty of on street parking available nearby.

I often walk take my grandkids here for a picnic in the summer months. There are rest areas around the loch and picnic areas near the car park and at the waters edge.

A nice short stroll for those who want a little break in the countryside.
