A nice short walk along the coastline from the village of East Wemyss.
You start in the East Wemyss Fife Coastal Path carpark and head towards Buckhaven along the coast.
You pass the ancient caves, which are well worth a quick stop and look at. Then its up the steps (with good handrail and a seat halfway) up to the top, past the back of the graveyard and on to Buckhaven, its a good path thats well worn and part of the Fife Coastal path so its also well sign posted.
There is a second set of steps half way to buckhaven but this time there is about a dozen steps and again they are in good condition, but may pose slight problems for those of limited mobility.
Once you arrive at Buckhaven at the large mural you can turn right and venture down in to Buckhaven itself, or turn left and follow the purple arrow path back to the main road, left again and back towards East Wemyss on the pavement.
As you enter East Wemyss there is the sign posts again for the coastal path on the left which takes you across the fields and back to the path you came in on.
It's an easy walk with excellent views of the Forth and Buckhaven, and plenty of seats to enjoy the view from. The steps may be difficult for those with limited walking ability, but they are wide and well maintained and have a very good handrail and there is also a seat half way up.
