Lundin Links is a small village that is perhaps beast known for its two golf courses but it does offer some nice walking as well.

This walking route takes the walker through the countryside and Lundin Wood before returning to the start point via the Fife Coastal Path.

The starting point for this route is a on-street parking spot but the route can be approached from anywhere in the village. Bus links to the village are regular.

Leaving the start point you first head out of the village on a minor road. Take care on this section as cars do take the road fairly fast. About a third of a kilometre along the road you will turn onto a farm path that leads you along the edge of a field (beware - this section can be very muddy in wet weather so come prepared).

The paths leads into Lundin Wood, a small and pleasant wood to walk through. Exoting the wood you will meet the farm road of Blacketside Farm - this a busy farm so take care when walking along the road leading to the main road (A915).

Once on the main road the route leads back toward the village turning right as you reach the village. The route then leads pasts the edge the Lundin Golf Club and down the shoreline meeting up with the Fife Coastal Path.

This section of the path offers some nice views over the Firth of Forth. The route then heads back inland towards the main road and your starting point.

This is a very nice walk in the Summer months but can be equally enjoyable throughout the year.
