Walking is really popular in Cupar and dozens of people head out each day to explore the surrounding area.

This circular walking route is a nice an easy stroll for those wishing to find out why Cupar is a walking town.

The route begins in the town’s park and makes it’s way West through the town following the West Port Road (A91).

Continue on this road for approximately 3km until you reach a road junction signposted for Stratheden Hospital. Carefully cross the road and head along the road to the Hospital.

When you reach the hospital follow the road to the right and follow the road down to the outskirts of Springfield and the train station.

Walk past the train station and turn left at the road junction and walk under the railway bridge. This road will lead you back into Cupar and is approximately 3km from the end point of this route.

This is a nice route to walk with friends and is really easy to follow and to walk.
