Many people will know of the Knockhill Racing Circuit many will not of been aware that the hill that gives the track it's name offers some excellent views across Fife.

This walking route is best attempted during the week when the racing circuit is quiet.

The start point is outside the racing circuit itself (signposted turning off A823). You can park up on the rough area next to the road. Avoid parking in the racing circuit grounds as parking is for customers only.

After parking up, pass through the gate and follow the road up the hill. The route is a track/road all the way to the top and is quite steep in areas so it is not suitable for all.

The summit of Knockhill has several masts and installations and a trig point so it is a fairly busy hilltop but the views across the valley are excellent.

A nice and easy trail and one for the geocachers among you.
