The Townhill Country Park is located near Dunfermline outside of the village of Townhill.

This is a great walking route for young kids who like to explore.

The route begins in the car park next to the loch side centre which is home Scottish National Water Ski Association. There are plenty of spaces. There is a children’s play area for little explorers and plenty of space for picnics.

The walking route itself makes its way around the loch on a fairly stable path although it can be muddy in some areas the autumn and winter seasons.

Although this a short route, there is lots to see and the route is very easy going and suitable for most walkers.
