On January 1st I challenged myself to walk 4000 miles over the course of 2018.
As many of you will know, I am not new to these kind of challenges as in 2016 I successfully completed a walk of over 3000 miles.
This was not, as some may think, an epic expedition in foreign lands, it was simply a challenge that I set myself in mid-2015. You learn more about how I achieved my goal by reading the post I wrote about the experience – http://www.walkfife.com/walking-for-distance-my-3000-mile-challenge/.
Keeping you updated…
Unlike my last challenge, this time I am going to document the walk (including the blisters) as I rack up the miles and share the lessons I learn along the way.
I will also be talking about the walk in our regular podcast where I will be able to answer any questions you have about taking on a challenge like this. For more regular updates you can also follow me through twitter at @SDMakin.
