Bishop Hill is part of the Lomond Hills and is a a good introduction to both hill and track walking.
This walking route is not suitable for walkers with limited ability.
The route starts in the car park next to Holl Reservoir (OS Grid NO 2242 0350) and heads out following the well maintained single lane track. As you walk through the moorland keep your eyes open for the local wildlife as the moorland is home to many different species.
The road gives way to a rougher dirt track which is fairly even under foot which you can follow on to the hill. You will eventually arrive at Bishop Hill (stone cairn marks the top) you will be greeted a with a nice view over to Loch Leven and the moorland you have passed through.
I have used this route to teach my children map and compass navigation and is a nice spring stretch.
