Humbie Wood is located on the outskirts of the coastal village of Aberdour.
This walking route is excellent in the summer and is popular with locals.
The woods can be muddy and in summer the paths can be overgrown but it is accessible to most able bodied walkers.
The route begins in the village itself and there are many places to park your car nearby. The village is also accessible by regular train and bus services. You exit on the path leading out of the village towards the wood and take care when you cross the road to access the farm track.
The woodland itself is great for kids to explore and the route takes you through it's heart. Once you have left the woods you will follow a track looping you back to the village and your start point.
